Problem

Your hand-mined gems reach a commodity terminal, but the sale fails with a mismatch or other terminal error instead of paying out. Current Alpha 4.9.x LIVE reports place the problem at the sale step after mining, not at extraction.

Keep it separate from refinery work orders, a ROC laser failure, refined ore, or ordinary cargo sales: the useful boundary here is hand-mined gems that the terminal will not buy. Results still vary with gem state, inventory source, and terminal path.

For a quantity mismatch, split the stack or avoid Max

Use this only when the terminal shows a quantity or price mismatch. Explicit quantities or smaller stacks succeeded in some current attempts, but this is not a general repair for every failed sale.
