Launch is blocked when EAC flags Vulkan-1.dll
Install the current driver package from your graphics-card manufacturer so its Vulkan components are updated, then try Star Citizen again. RSI currently recommends this step, and one player reported success before Alpha 4.10, but there is no Alpha 4.10.1 result or published success rate.
Game does not launch after switching to Vulkan
Add r.GraphicsRenderer = 0 to the LIVE user.cfg file, then launch the game again. This is RSI's recommended first step for the post-switch Vulkan launch crash.
RSI Launcher install fails with Error 5021 (Installer Error)
Start with the registry command CIG gives for Error 5021: run it from an administrator Command Prompt, restart your PC, then try the install again. It's the only fix RSI lists for this code, and CIG says it has worked for some players, not all. If you'd like to see whether your drive is the kind it changes, check the sector size with fsutil first. Still stuck? Work through RSI's general launcher steps: restart the launcher, verify files, and as a last resort, do a clean reinstall.
Return quantum marker disappears after respawn
If nobody you know is still at the scene, there is no confirmed way to restore the missing quantum marker or quantum back. If a friend or party member stayed there and remains visible in the starmap, you can route to that player instead.
Star Citizen fails to launch with Easy Anti-Cheat Error 0
Delete the installed EasyAntiCheat folder, fully restart the RSI Launcher, then run Verify. RSI still recommends this sequence, but no Alpha 4.10.1 result or success rate is available.
Quantum drive does not engage
No reliable recovery is confirmed for this exact problem on Alpha 4.10.1. The three low-impact fallbacks below come from single historical reports and may not work now.
Quantum route disappears immediately after setting
No recovery is confirmed for this exact behavior on Star Citizen 4.10.1. Repeatedly pressing R is the only low-impact fallback with success reports for the same symptom, but it also failed for the original reporter.
Personal Hangar missing after Character Repair
CIG says the hangar loss is temporary, but Alpha 4.10.1 has no confirmed recovery. Waiting is the lowest-impact fallback. The available interventions are unconfirmed, older, or conflicting.
RSI Launcher stuck checking for updates
Open the RSI Launcher settings, select Clear Launcher Cache, and retry the update once. CIG lists this first for the exact stall, but does not publish a success rate. If the launcher stops again, use only the next route that matches something you can see.
Launch fails with Error 19003 on one PC across multiple accounts
Sync the Windows clock on the affected PC, then try one launch. CIG lists this as a current Error 19k check, but there is no confirmed Alpha 4.10.1 result for this exact one-PC state, so treat it as a low-risk check rather than a guaranteed fix.
Refinery job fails with Error 18 when refined Torite is stored
Call all refined Torite up on the freight elevator, leave it physically raised, and retry the refinery job. Players have reported this working repeatedly through Alpha 4.10.0, but there is no exact Alpha 4.10.1 result yet.
Assets app in mobiGlas is stuck loading
CIG still lists the Assets app as stuck loading in 4.10.1 and says there is no workaround. Older player reports disagree on whether waiting or changing server conditions ever helps, so those steps are not a dependable current fix.
QV Breaker mission target marker does not appear
Once the body or named-target marker is still absent after you pass a fuse door and fight into Section 1 or Section 2, no verified recovery remains. Retracking failed in the only matching report, while restart advice came from a different type of marker problem and was never tested here. You can document an Alpha 4.10.1 recurrence through the Issue Council, but that will not recover the active contract.
Battaglia Story Mission 2 does not appear
The missing Battaglia Story Mission 2 offer is marked fixed in the current LIVE build. There is no current workaround to follow; older suggestions to change shards, wait, or abandon repeatable contracts are not confirmed for Alpha 4.10.1.
Framerate fails after opening and closing the starmap
CIG still lists this problem for 4.10.1 and says there is no workaround. Generic performance steps are not a proven fix for this starmap-triggered drop.
