Lorville tram doors fail and spin near departure
Tracked since 14 Sept 2026 · Last researched 14 Sept 2026
Problem
On Lorville's tram from Metro Centre to Teasa Spaceport, the doors or other tram parts can fail and rotate as the vehicle departs. Standing close can eject you from the tram or out of bounds and may leave your character incapacitated.
CIG still lists this route-specific issue for Alpha 4.10.x. Older player reports describe the same rotation and ejection, but they do not confirm how reliably the current guidance works in Alpha 4.10.
Applies to Alpha 4.10.x LIVE; Alpha 4.10.1 was still PTU on September 11, 2026 · Current

Move away from the doors before departure
After boarding the Metro Centre-to-Teasa tram, move far enough away from the doors before it departs. This is CIG's current way to avoid the ejection hazard while you are still aboard; it is not a recovery after you have already been ejected or incapacitated.
CIG identifies distance from the doors as the way to avoid this route-specific ejection hazard.
What to do
- Enter the tram for the Metro Centre-to-Teasa Spaceport route.
- Move far enough away from the doors before the tram departs.
Use this after entering the Lorville tram for the Metro Centre-to-Teasa Spaceport route and while you can still move inside it.
