Problem
Star Citizen cannot reconnect after a game-server crash when it hangs on an infinite loading screen or leaves you at an unresponsive game menu.

After a server crash: fully restart the game
Fully exit and restart Star Citizen, then try reconnecting once. Use this only when the reconnect failure follows a game-server crash; named login errors, broad outages, and other infinite-loading cases need different guidance.
CIG lists this restart specifically for post-server-crash reconnect failures.
What to do
- Fully exit Star Citizen after the server crash.
- Start Star Citizen again.
- Retry the reconnect once.
