Quantum interdiction device does not activate
CIG currently says there is no workaround for this Alpha 4.10.1 activation failure, and no exact current-build recovery was found. You can document the failure through the Issue Council, but that will not restore the device.
Suffocating or unable to sprint with two helmets equipped
Leave only one helmet equipped. RSI lists removal of the second helmet as the current fix for this exact two-helmet problem. It is the best first step, but there is no public Alpha 4.10.x player success rate and older hidden-helmet cases did not always clear.
A guest is stuck after falling through a friend's hangar elevator
If the guest is already trapped, fully exit Star Citizen and log in again. This was CIG's exact Alpha 4.9 recovery step, and one related 4.10.x hangar-fall report recovered after reconnecting. No exact 4.10.x result is available for this incident.
A visitor is stuck under Levski after the hangar owner leaves
CIG lists no workaround after this happens. Restarting, relogging, forced respawn, changing regions, waiting, and Character Repair have no exact 4.10.x result for this incident, so none can be presented as a reliable fix.
Lorville tram doors fail and spin near departure
After boarding the Metro Centre-to-Teasa tram, move far enough away from the doors before it departs. This is CIG's current way to avoid the ejection hazard while you are still aboard; it is not a recovery after you have already been ejected or incapacitated.
RSI Launcher install or Verify fails with Error 5014
Fully close the launcher, including its system-tray process, reopen it, and retry once. This is CIG's lowest-impact general 50XX step, not a proven Error 5014 fix. If 5014 returns, use log.log to select a matching path, storage, or network route instead of cycling generic fixes.
Siege of Orison gets stuck at the entry shuttle
Community suggests the elevator retry may advance "Go to Shuttle Stop." The result is unverified.
Invisible cargo stuck on a personal-hangar freight elevator
No reliable recovery is confirmed for this exact invisible-cargo obstruction in Alpha 4.10. Two older bypasses may help only when your location or hangar size matches their requirements.
Mendo Ren's Vendetta falls through the floor or disappears
Once Mendo's carried Vendetta disappears, search the green crates in the final loot area for another one. Players have found Vendettas there, but repeated empty-crate results mean this is a chance, not a guaranteed replacement.
Freight elevator does not accept mission cargo
No recovery has been confirmed in Alpha 4.10. If every box remains accessible, re-snapping it to the elevator grid is the least disruptive unverified fallback. Moving the cargo to a fresh delivery instance takes longer and is also unverified.
Battaglia asteroid is already scanned and does not grant mission credit
No recovery has been confirmed for Alpha 4.10. If you still have a fresh required asteroid, the least disruptive fallback is to stay out of scan and mining modes until its yellow mission marker appears, but Alpha 4.9 players reported both success and failure. Changing shards is another unverified fallback when markers repeatedly fail to appear.
Error 60009: Matchmaking is unavailable
Check RSI Status before changing anything locally. If matchmaking, new connections, or the Persistent Universe are disabled or degraded, wait until service is restored and retry once. If status is operational and Error 60009 remains, report the exact case instead of cycling through unrelated fixes.
Inventory fails to open and crashes the client
There is no supported broad fix for the inventory-opening crash. Preserve the crash files before another session overwrites them and add your current-build details to STARC-219127. If you have Overwolf, a third-party game overlay/app platform, installed and running, close it for one test only when the same missing-cursor crash also affects mobiGlas, the Escape menu, or interaction mode.
Ship stuck in the hangar floor
Store-and-retrieve is the only recovery with a reported current success for this floor-clipping incident, but another current attempt locked the player out of every Retrieve button. Treat it as a limited, medium-risk retry—not a reliable fix—and avoid it when cargo or ship-state loss would be unacceptable.
ASOP Retrieve button is greyed out and unavailable
Relog first. Multiple current Alpha 4.10 reports describe it restoring Retrieve, but other players report failures and frequent recurrence, so treat it as the best current first step rather than a guaranteed or lasting fix.
